WTJU will host 2 week long summer camps this year to teach students the basics of audio production.

What will students do?
Connect with the local music scene
Conduct radio interviews
Learn the basics of audio production
Put together a short radio show

Camps will be divided by age.
Middle school students (ages 11-14): July 6-10
High school students (ages 15-18): July 13-17

The middle school camp will have a stronger focus on connecting with the local music scene while the high school camp will focus more on audio interviews and audio editing.

Each camp will run daily from 9am-3pm and will take place at the WTJU studio in Lambeth Commons (Directions to the studio). Occasional trips will be taken around Charlottesville.

Cost: $75
Includes tuition, snacks, & beverages. Lunch NOT included. Students are expected to bring their own lunch.

Limited scholarships are available.
